Description of Position: Our client is seeking individuals who have a Ph.D. or MD degree with 2-4 years of strategy consulting experience at a top tier life sciences consulting firm to join their team.  These individuals would be working on projects to define the competitive positioning, product strategy, market assessment, operational strategy, and transactional strategy for innovative growth stage life sciences companies.

Desired background of Candidate: We are looking for a motivated, high-energy professional who possesses the following skills and qualities:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a top tier strategy consulting firm focusing on areas including competitive positioning, product strategy, market assessment, operational strategy, and transactional strategy
• Advanced scientific degree: MD or Ph.D.
• An MBA also is preferred
• Strong background in the life sciences industry with knowledge of product discovery, development, and commercialization
• Experience conducting technical and market diligence across multiple therapeutic areas
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel ~20%
