Nonclinical Healthcare Equity Research Associate
Job Description
Healthcare dedicated New York based investment bank seeks candidates for research associate position. Candidates should have an advanced scientific degree related to healthcare, MD or PhD, and some modeling experience. If MD, broad based experience such as FP, IM, ER is preferable. Ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of oncology and a year or two of business experience in consulting or a similar role. MBA, CFA, series 7, 63, 86, 87 desirable. Candidate will work in a team environment, focusing on fundamental research, building and maintaining models, conducting independent primary research, attending medical and scientific meetings and interacting with leaders in the field. Candidate will report to senior analyst and have the opportunity to grow, take on additional responsibilities, and establish a reputation. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Start date: immediate. Compensation: competitive.
