Nonclinical Biotechnology Equity Research Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Research Associate to join the Biotechnology team of an investment bank based in New York. The associate will work in a team-oriented environment and attain expertise in this industry sector, focusing on fundamental research and financial analysis, in addition to interacting with company management, industry thought leaders, sales, trading, and institutional clients, and attending medical and scientific meetings. There will be a high level of responsibility in this position. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Candidates should have an advanced scientific degree (Ph.D. or M.D.) relating to healthcare, preferably experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting or a similar field and some modeling experience. Series 7, 63, 86 & 87 licenses will be required for this role, but are not necessary prerequisites.
