Nonclinical Associate Director, Investor Relations- Regeneron

Job Description

Regeneron is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. In addition to ARCALYST (rilonacept) Injection for Subcutaneous Use, its first commercialized product, Regeneron has evaluated therapeutic candidates in Phase 3 clinical trials for the potential treatment of gout, diseases of the eye (wet age-related macular degeneration and central retinal vein occlusion), and certain cancers. Additional therapeutic candidates are in earlier stage development programs in rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions, pain, cholesterol reduction, allergic and immune conditions, and cancer.

Position Summary:

The Associate Director, Investor Relations will be a critical member of the Investor Relations team at Regeneron and will play a key role in building and supporting the Investor Relations function.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participate in the design of the corporate investor relations strategy to support the organization’s investor relations objectives
  • Partake in the preparation of quarterly earnings and clinical data release deliverables: press releases, conference call script, Q&A document, supplemental data, and slide presentation
  • Monitor changes and trends in investment markets; compile industry and market trends, competitor and analyst research and provides summaries for distribution to business leaders
  • Review and provide executive summaries on peer company news releases and transcripts of conference calls and other research studies and analysis as needed
  • Contribute to the planning, development and execution of Analyst Conferences, non-deal road shows and Annual shareholders meeting
  • Provide investment community with financial and strategic information that support investment decision- making
  • Maintain and improve relations and communications between the organization and the investing public, shareholders, and financial professionals to enhance the standing of the organization’s stock and debt Develop, maintain, and enhance working relationships with investment community that hold, or may hold, the organization’s stock or debt
  • Build relationships/liaison with finance peers throughout the organization
  • Conduct internal financial analysis ‘ periodic results, special management requests and other projects
  • Develop the content requirements for financial reporting that meets the information needs of the investment community, and assist in its production and timely dissemination
  • Assist with the design and creation of PowerPoint presentations for the CEO and CFO at conferences and shareholder meetings, and a core quarterly deck used by entire company for other presentations as needed
  • Support senior management with analyses needed for communication to investment community
  • Support internal investor relations website with key documents including external research, company publications, investor meeting summaries, historic press releases, and corporate presentations

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in investor relations or related field (e.g. sell side research, investment banking)
  • Strong science background (MD, PhD will be viewed as a plus)
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, a high energy level, outstanding work ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint-must have a high level of ability to create dynamic PowerPoint presentations
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Excellent financial/investment analysis
  • Must have the ability to work independently, part of a team, and cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated competency conducting research
  • Ability to travel as necessary
